Cookies

This page lists the cookies and similar technologies used on multigoal.uk, what each is for, and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are used to remember things like your sign-in state, your basket and the choices you have made on the Site.

This page also covers similar technologies such as localStorage, which we use to keep your basket and recent searches across visits.

2. The categories we use

Strictly necessary: required for the Site to work. These do not need your consent under UK law.

Functional: remember choices you have made so the Site is more useful (such as recent searches and basket state). Set after you have used the relevant feature.

Analytics: help us understand how the Site is being used so we can improve it. Only set with your consent.

Marketing: used to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Only set with your consent and only when you arrive from a campaign link.

3. The specific cookies we set

  • multigoal_customer: strictly necessary. An encrypted session cookie that keeps you signed into your account. Expires when you sign out.
  • multigoal_admin: strictly necessary. The equivalent session cookie for staff accounts on /admin. Only set if you sign into the admin area.
  • multigoal-cart (localStorage): functional. Stores the items, quantities and any promo code in your basket. Persists until you clear it or empty the basket.
  • multigoal-recent-searches (localStorage): functional. Stores the last 8 searches you ran. Persists until you clear them.

We do not currently set analytics or marketing cookies. If we add them, this page will be updated and we will ask for your consent before they are set.

4. Managing cookies

Use the button below to open your cookie preferences at any time. Your choice is stored locally on this device.

You can also delete cookies and clear localStorage from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and empty your basket, but it will not affect the orders you have already placed.

Most browsers let you block third-party cookies or set the browser to ask you before storing any cookie. We do not rely on third-party cookies for any essential function of the Site.

5. Changes to this policy

If we add or remove cookies we will update this page. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
